USGS: Magnitude 7.1 earthquake strikes Mariana Islands region 

SAIPAN (Mariana Islands), Nov 24 — A magnitude 7.1 earthquake struck near the northern Mariana Islands region in the Pacific today, the US Geological Survey said.

The quake was at a depth of 12.4km, USGS said.

No Tsunami warning was issued after the earthquake. — Reuters
