SEATTLE, July 11 — Cute animals in an app isn't exactly a new strategy, but Spry Fox's new game Alphabear knows not to mess with a winning formula.
In Alphabear, you unlock and collect bears by creating words from randomly generated characters. The difference? Your collected bears can aid you by giving you extra points and unused letters turn to stone after a set time, adding strategy into the mix.
While the game is free to download, you can pay real money to get unlimited honey (honey unlocks basic levels) or a specific number of coins (which you can accumulate by winning levels). Addictive and adorable, Alphabear is a fun casual game that wordgame lovers would enjoy. Download it from the App Store and Google Play.
