KUALA LUMPUR, June 28 — CelcomDigi recently introduced its “unified” fibre broadband offering with speeds of up to 300Mbps. If you need more bandwidth for your home broadband, CelcomDigi is now offering higher options with speeds of up 1Gbps. If you’re an existing Celcom or Digi postpaid customer, you can also enjoy extra rebates of up to RM50 when you add-on fibre broadband to your plan.

The 500Mbps fibre broadband plan which has 100Mbps upload costs RM219/month, while the 800Mbps fibre broadband option with 100Mbps upload is priced at RM299/month. Meanwhile, the highest 1Gbps fibre broadband plan with 200Mbps upload costs RM319/month.

However, if you’re on an eligible Celcom or Digi Postpaid Plan valued at RM90 and above, you can get RM50/month rebate. With the rebate, the 1Gbps plan would only cost you RM269/month, 800Mbps at RM249/month and 500Mbps at RM169/month.

For customers on an eligible postpaid plan priced between RM60 and RM89, you can still get a monthly rebate but at RM30/month. This means the 1Gbps would cost you RM289/month, 800Mbps at RM269/month and 500Mbps at RM189/month.

All CelcomDigi fibre plans come with unlimited quota, free WiFi 6 router, private dynamic IP and free installation. On the 300Mbps plan and above, customers can opt to add on extra hardware such as a Smart TV, air purifier and even a PlayStation 5 on monthly instalments.

Take note that if you wish to terminate your CelcomDigi fibre plan before the contract ends, you will need to pay a minimum termination charge of RM500 or the remaining contract value (number of months remaining x monthly fibre subscription), whichever is higher. Essentially, you will have to pay the full outstanding subscription amount which is just as good as not terminating at all.
