KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 2 — A solitary goal from Serbian import Luka Milunovic saw Perak beat Negeri Sembilan FC (NSFC) 1-0 at their own backyard in a Super League match at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Stadium in Paroi, last night.

The first half saw both teams in an attacking mode but despite both sides creating chances, the finishing was lacking on both sides of the field, thus both ended the first half goalless.

NSFC’s best chance came in the 25th minute through import Hein Htet Aung but Perak FC goalkeeper Muhammad Farhan Abdul Majid was equal to the task,

The start of the second half was a different ball game as Perak looked sharper and from one of the many attacks, captain Luciano Guaycochea’s fine pass was finished off by Luka Milunovic in the 51st minute.

Despite the loss NSFC remained ninth in the Super League table with 21 points while Perak are in 11th spot with 19 points.

Meanwhile, at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium in Kota Bharu, Kelantan United (KUFC) defeated Penang FC 1-0.

When the first half ended both teams were deadlocked at 0-0.

The hostile home fans who were rooting for their team’s victory were rewarded in the 68th minute when import Dominik Balic beat Penang goalkeeper Muhammad Azfar Arif.
