SEOUL, Oct 24 — Canadian pop star Justin Bieber made an unannounced visit to South Korea yesterday, his first trip to the country in roughly 13 years.
The singer announced his arrival on social media with the caption “Made it to Seoul,” alongside photos taken while travelling through the capital.
He landed at Incheon International Airport, west of Seoul, with his wife, model Hailey Bieber, in the early hours of yesterday, according to local media reports cited by Yonhap News Agency.
“I made it to Seoul,” Bieber wrote on Instagram.
The 32-year-old singer last performed in South Korea in 2013, though he made a virtual appearance at the Weverse Con Festival, hosted by K-pop powerhouse Hybe, in late 2021.
Bieber’s return has been linked to a Seoul pop-up for Skylrk, the fashion and lifestyle label he co-founded, although the exact purpose of his trip was not immediately disclosed.
The Grammy winner later shared images from the store on social media, prompting speculation that the visit was tied to the event.
Skylrk’s pop-up began trading on Thursday in the trendy Seongsu neighbourhood and is scheduled to close tomorrow.
Bieber’s recent musical activity includes the release of Swag Live From Coachella (Weekend I) in June 2026, a live album capturing his headlining performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April.
That performance marked his first headlining set at a major festival in four years and drew more than 147 million views worldwide, according to reports.
