KUALA LUMPUR, September 8 — Indonesian folk pop band Fourtwnty will be touring Malaysia this October in conjunction with the release of their third album, Nalar.

The band will be serenading fans in four cities including in Penang, Johor, Pahang and Kuala Lumpur.

Their Malaysia tour will kickstart at the SUKPA indoor stadium in Kuantan on October 13 followed by Johor at the Persada Johor International Convention Centre on October 15.

It continues to Penang where the band will be performing at the Vervea Trade and Exhibition Centre (VTEC), in Batu Kawan on October 20 before it ends with a show in Zepp KL this October 22.

According to band frontman Ari Lesmana, touring in Malaysia has been one of Fourtwnty’s lifelong dreams.

"To be able to do a series of tours in a few cities in Malaysia is extraordinary for Fourtwnty.

"We still can't believe that our dreams are coming true via our third album Nalar, after doing a few shows only in KL previously.

"Until we meet again soon, we can’t wait to celebrate Nalar together with you,” Ari said via a statement.

Ari also described their third album as a remedy for their fans coping with hard times.

The band previously made waves through some of their hit songs including Fana Merah Jambu, Zona Nyaman, Aku Tenang and Hitam Putih.

They last performed here in July this year at Nusafest 2023.
