KUALA LUMPUR, April 1 — Jisoo of Kpop girl group Blackpink finally released her solo debut album ME and has already set the internet abuzz.
Yesterday (March 31) the singer released her lead single FLOWER on all platforms and quickly rose to the top of trending topics worldwide.
On iTunes, FLOWER dominated the Top Songs chart in 57 countries including the United States, according to YG Entertainment.
The music video for FLOWER also gained 39 million views in less than 24 hours on YouTube, reaching the top spot on the platform's worldwide trending page.
Jisoo’s debut also became the No.1 most searched topic on social media platforms Twitter, Weibo and MeIOn.
The catchy Kpop tune has been generally well-received by online users with many praising Jisoo’s vocals, the song's unique hook and dreamy melodies.
