KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 29 — Fast X star and producer Vin Diesel has hinted that the first trailer of his upcoming movie will be released in less than two months.
The 55-year-old actor revealed the timeline in an Instagram post while sharing a photo of him and his onscreen sister Mia Toretto played by Jordana Brewster.
“Less than two months away from the Fast X trailer launch,” reads Vin Diesel’s post.
Fans were quick to share their excitement in the comment section, while some hoped to see more racing scenes in the film.
“Please for the love of God, don’t go to the moon and please do some actual racing, like the first movie or Tokyo Drift,” wrote @mmabett.
“I'm a huge fan of the Fast & Furious franchise, but the last two were so cringe-worthy.
“Such a fake-looking action that is so unrealistic. I actually laughed,” wrote @mommy_wifey12.
In another post, Vin Diesel shared that “May is going to be a very special month for film” which may indicate the penultimate film is set to be released in May 2023.
There are two installments of the Fast & Furious franchise, which will be Fast X and Fast 11.
The new film assembles most of the cast from previous films, including Diesel, Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Statham, John Cena, Tyrese Gibson, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Cari B, Charlize Theron and a whole lot more.
Earlier this year, Vin Diesel revealed that Mia Toretto’s character was excluded in the initial draft of the Fast X script until his daughter had a word with the director.
