KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 19 — Actress and television host Mira Filzah has shared that productions houses have shown interest in her 7-month-old son, Wan Khair Amir Wan Emir Astar.
The 39-year-old actress told Kosmo! that she and her husband are open to consider proposals by commercial companies and production houses but it must be suitable considering their son’s age.
“There are those who have expressed their interest for me to ‘release’ Amir to the commercial world, both in advertising and film.
“If it’s for a short-term campaign, we might consider it but as for acting in a film, maybe not for the time being, because he’s still too young,” she said.
The Sangkar actress also said that she and her son have previously appeared on screen together on several occasions to promote products and services on social media platforms.
“Amir also likes looking at the camera, like how he was during our campaign for a South Korean product.
“He isn’t camera shy.”
Mira and her husband previously shared that they’ve set up an Instagram account for their son who now has over 70,000 followers.
Mira was reportedly ready to go back to acting next year after taking a break to for marriage and motherhood.
She said that she had found a nanny to look after her son for when she’s out on the set in the future.
Mira added that she has received acting offers ever since she finished her postpartum confinement period however, her son was her only focus at that time.
“Plus at that time we still haven’t found a helper yet. So I just focused on Amir and would get involved with commercial campaigns with a short shooting period only.
“Of course I’ve missed the acting world. Now that we found a helper, I can go back to sets but not those that would take up to weeks.”
Mira tied the knot with husband, Wan Emir Astar on September 3, 2020 and they were blessed with Amir who was born on May 10, this year.
