KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 15 — Actress Rozita Che Wan has come under fire from social media users for allowing her daughter Aaisyah Dhia Rana to wear clothes that revealed her midriff.
Some of them said it was inappropriate for an eight-year-old to wear such an outfit.
Instagram user @syuhadashim said the dress would only attract peadophiles' attention.
“The mother is dressed properly but the same cannot be said about her daughter,” she wrote.
Sharing her concern, @norakhairul83_ said the eight-year-old looks pretty in the dress but she should not show her abdomen and navel.
“It is not pleasing to the eyes of men,” she wrote.
Similarly, @nrlainasuhaa implored on Rozita, who often goes by Che Ta, to teach Aaisyah to cover her aurat and to be shameful from young.
Che Ta, 49, who shares Aaisyah with her actor husband Zain Saidin, 38, is no stranger to controversies.
In July 2020, Rozita was criticised for posting a video of her daughter dancing to Blackpink’s new song How You Like That.
At that time, social media users criticised Che Ta’s parenting style and claimed that she was not raising her daughter in a proper manner by allowing her to participate in online dance trends.
