KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 6 — Veteran actress and producer Fauziah Ahmad Daud has come out to clear the air regarding her marriage, following her cryptic post on social media.
Popularly known as Ogy, the 60-year-old pointed out that she did not say she would be tying the knot in the post.
“Many thought I was getting married. I did not say so,” Utusan quoted her as saying, following her post on social media.
In the post, which had since been deleted, Fauziah wrote her hand in marriage had been sought (dirisik) and she had also accepted the engagement offer.
“The ceremony is next week. I can’t wait,” she wrote in the post.
However, when met by the media during the launch of the Wajah Rahsia Hati musical, Fauziah said the risikan was a proposal from DStar Management for the musical next February.
“The risikan is an invitation from the producer Hafiz Glamour to have the musical. I did not say I am getting married.”
“So when many wished me well, I accepted it,” she said.
Fauziah said she received the offer five years ago and only recently decided to accept the offer.
She also took to her social media to clear the air following the buzz created over her previous post.
Thanking fans for their wishes, Fauziah apologised for disappointing them as it was not a marriage that they had hoped for.
