PETALING JAYA, Oct 14 — Brad Pitt has found a way to deal with his personal issues including his broken marriage with actress Angelina Jolie - by turning to art.

The Ad Astra actor has been working on sculptures which are featured alongside the work of his longtime friends - Australian musician Nick Cave and British artist Thomas Houseago.

The exhibition that started on September 19 will end January 1 next year, and is currently being held at Finland’s Sara Hilden art museum.

With its title WE with Nick Cave & Brad Pitt, many on social media were amazed that Pitt had found a way to deal with his misery.

In an earlier post, the museum's Instagram post reported that more than 10,000 people had visited the exhibition since its launch on September 18.

"For Houseago, creativity is fundamental, common to all people and flowing in all of us," it stated.

"Houseago is presenting his own sculpture and paintings alongside a ceramic series by Cave and plaster and bronze sculptures by Pitt.

"Cave and Pitt are already renowned in their respective fields of music and cinema, but this is the first time ever they have exhibited their artwork - pieces created during the course of an ongoing dialogue with Houseago."

After he split from Jolie in 2016, the actor found solace in art and where he spent most of his time working on sculptures at the Houseago's Los Angeles art studio.

"And out of this misery (split with Jolie) came a flame of joy in my life.

"I’ve always wanted to be a sculptor. I’ve always wanted to try it,” he told Financial Times.
