LOS ANGELES, Dec 3 — Kanye West is living apart from his wife Kim Kardashian and their two kids after being discharged from hospital.
Us Weekly, citing a source, said the 39-year-old rapper is staying at a rental house while receiving outpatient treatment.
West was released from UCLA Medical Centre on Wednesday after being admitted on November 21 for extreme exhaustion.
“Kim is being very protective and doesn’t want Kanye around the kids right now,” the source was quoted as saying.
Meanwhile, a second source added that the 36-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star “isn’t necessarily keeping the kids from West, but there is valid concern.”
Multiple news reports said that West had celebrated son Saint’s first birthday after returning home from the hospital. The couple also have a three-year-old daughter called North.
It is understood that Kardashian’s Paris October 3 robbery and West’s work overload have taken a serious toll on the couple’s marriage.
“It’s just been hell for them,” a source told Us Weekly.
“Kanye’s behaviour took a huge toll on their marriage. But Kim feels relieved he is getting the help he needs. She thinks this is what it will take to save him — and help their marriage.”
