LONDON, Sept 4 — “The High Mountains of Portugal,” the latest novel by Man Booker-winner Yann Martel, has been set for a February 2 release in the UK.
In his latest novel, the “Life of Pi” author “takes the reader on a road trip through Portugal in the last century — and through the human soul,” says UK publisher Canongate, according to The Bookseller.
The story begins in the early 1900s and spans a century as it follows three different characters -- a young man in Lisbon, a Portuguese pathologist involved in a murder mystery and a Canadian senator.
The book’s US release is also set for February 2. — AFP Relaxnews
