KUALA LUMPUR, June 26 — Property developer LBS Bina Group Berhad (LBS) has won the Top 10 Developers Award 2023 at the BCI Asia Awards (BCIAA).
The BCI Asia Award recognises the achievements of regional property developers that have made a great impact across Asia.
LBS executive chairman Tan Sri Lim Hock San said that the company was excited to receive the recognition in Malaysia.
“We would like to thank everyone who has supported LBS and promise to continue working diligently to become the preferred developer,” he said in a press statement.
Lim also said that sustainability in housing is of paramount importance to LBS due to its numerous benefits for both homebuyers and the environment.
He added that sustainable houses help to reduce the ecological footprint and preserve precious natural resources.
“Embracing sustainability in housing not only safeguards our planet’s future, but also enhances the well-being and comfort of residents, making it a vital endeavour for a more responsible and resilient future,” he said.
He also announced that LBS’ winning project for this year was Melodi Perdana, which comprises a four residential blocks with 1,520 housing units.
“This project has a comfortable average built-up size of 901 square feet. Like all of LBS’ projects, Melodi Perdana encompasses the pillars of affordability, connectivity, community, and most definitely sustainability.
“More importantly, these units truly embody LBS’ commitment to house the nation by fulfilling the demand for properties at an accessible price point,” he said.
The BCIAA, which was attended by many notable property developers in Malaysia, was held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
The BCIAA 2023 gala dinner was also graced by the Works Ministry’s secretary-general Datuk Seri Hasnol Zam Zam Ahmad.
