KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 24 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has the best plan regarding the country’s leadership, Local Government Development Minister Nga Kor Ming has reportedly said.

According to local daily Sinar Harian, Nga said that everyone only had to place their trust in Anwar including for issues such as the speculated Cabinet reshuffle.

“He is the best strategist, our best salesperson for Malaysia globally, and knows what’s best for our country.

“To me, he already has the best plan so any ministers who are chosen have to be great in serving,” he was quoted saying in Ipoh yesterday after launching events there.

But Sinar Harian also reported Nga as not commenting further regarding the speculated reshuffle and leaving it to Anwar’s discretion as prime minister, quoting Nga as saying that he was confident in Anwar’s leadership which is currently held in high esteem globally especially when he delivered Malaysia’s National Statement at the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Sinar Harian had yesterday reported regarding speculation that a minor reshuffle of the federal government’s Cabinet is expected after the Pelangai by-election concludes on October 7, citing a senior DAP leader who declined to be named.
