JOHOR BARU, July 18 — Sultan Johor Sultan Ibrahim Almarhum Sultan Iskandar will undergo surgery on his right shoulder due to an old injury today.
According to a post on His Majesty’s official Facebook page, Sultan Ibrahim was accompanied to the hospital by the Permaisuri of Johor, Raja Zarith Sofiah Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah.
Also accompanying His Majesty were Johor Princess Tunku Aminah Sultan Ibrahim and husband Datuk Muhammad Dennis Abdullah as well as Tunku Temenggong Johor, Tunku Idris Sultan Ibrahim.
“It is His Majesty’s hope that the people will pray for a successful surgery and that His Majesty is blessed with long-lasting health,” the post read. — Bernama
