IPOH, July 15 — Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil was at the site for tomorrow’s launch of the 2023 National Month and Fly the Jalur Gemilang to observe the final preparations for the event at Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah, Meru Raya here.
Tonight, at 8.45pm, he is scheduled to attend the Forum Perdana, with the title “Legasi Merdeka”.
At 6.30am tomorrow, Fahmi, who is also the chairman of the 2023 National Day and Malaysia Day Main Committee, is scheduled to flag off participants of the “6,600 Langkan Perpaduan” programme before joining Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof at the launch of the 2023 National Month and Fly the Jalur Gemilang campaign.
The 2023 National Month and Fly the Jalur Gemilang programme, with the theme “Malaysia Madani: Tekad Perpaduan Penuhi Harapan” is targeting the attendance of 10,000 visitors, with a variety of interesting activities to be held, including the Rahmah Sale, a patriotic star competition, quiz on nationhood and performances by artistes.
The Royal Malaysia Police will open a payment counter offering a 50 per cent reduction on selected summonses from 8.30am to 3pm. — Bernama
