JOHOR BARU, July 4 — The operations of the Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) Complex at the Sultan Iskandar Building (BSI) here, and the Sultan Abu Bakar Complex (KSAB) in Iskandar Puteri are now more efficient.
Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi said he received positive feedback regarding the efficiency and preparedness of operations at the two gateways.
He said the issue of congestion on both routes between Johor and Singapore can be dealt with more effectively with strategic and continuous cooperation from all parties.
“The commitment needs to be continued and the level of preparedness needs to be maintained to ensure that operations at the national border are always smooth so that it can guarantee the well-being of the people and travellers and improve the image of Johor and Malaysia in the eyes of the world,” he said in a Facebook post today.
Onn Hafiz also expressed his appreciation to all the agencies that have helped to ensure the smooth running of the two CIQs. — Bernama
