MUAR, May 20 — Perikatan Nasional (PN) will continue to use the coalition’s existing logo in four states in the upcoming state elections as it did in the last general election (GE).
Its chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the four states are Penang, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Kedah and PN is still waiting for the final word from Kelantan and Terengganu.
“We have been using it (logo) until today. PAS also used the logo in Kedah. PAS hasn’t asked for it to be changed.
“It is also fine if Kelantan and Terengganu want to use PAS logo since the people already know about PN. We are all on good terms in PN. It (relationship) has actually improved compared with the last GE,” he said here today.
He said this at a press conference at the Pagoh parliamentary and the Bukit Kepong state constituencies’ Aidilfitri do at the Pagoh Sports Complex, which was also attended by Bukit Kepong assemblyman Datuk Seri Dr Sahruddin Jamal.
Muhyiddin also described the upcoming state elections will serve as a new benchmark to show the future direction of the country’s politics. — Bernama
