KUALA LUMPUR, December 15 — Deputy Prime Minister II Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof today confirmed that political parties that support the administration of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will sign an agreement on their cooperation with the unity government tomorrow.

Fadillah said it will precede the motion of confidence that will be presented in Parliament this Monday, Berita Harian reported.

"All the party leaders have already discussed and I will go back to have a meeting with Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) level to see the content of the agreement today,” he was quoted saying.

The GPS whip chief said the meeting tomorrow will involve all leaders who expressed their support to the prime minister.

Earlier, Warisan president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal in a statement revealed that political parties supporting the unity government are expected to sign an agreement tomorrow in an effort to strengthen the Anwar-led government.

Shafie said he will be present at the ceremony in line with Warisan's support for Anwar as prime minister and the unity government.

"We will hold a meeting this Friday to sign the agreement between Pakatan Harapan (PH) and other parties, I will be present for the meeting.

"This is our priority, to reduce politics, what is important to us is to bring the right things on the right track," he was quoted as saying.
