IPOH, Nov 20 — Perak Perikatan Nasional deputy chairman Razman Zakaria stressed that the coalition will not work with Pakatan Harapan (PH) to form the next state government.
Having won 26 out of 59 seats in the state assembly, the PAS state commissioner said PN was just four seats short of gaining a simple majority.
He also said the coalition could also approach Barisan Nasional if it did not win enough seats on its own.
“However, we are clear that we will not be with PH... we are clear with our policy of ‘No Anwar, No DAP’,” he told reporters, referring to PH chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Official results put PH at 22 seats and BN with 11.
No single coalition has the 30 seats needed for a simple majority in the 59-seat assembly.
