KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 28 — PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli said today that the party's candidates for the 15th general election will be required to declare their assets.
He added that the declarations will be made available online for public scrutiny.
"As soon as the candidates are announced, Malaysians can research the biodata of each candidate on the website www.calonkeadilan.org.
"The declared assets of the candidates will help the voters to understand them better,” wrote Rafizi in a Facebook post here
Rafizi also said that the party will start sending information about contesting candidates' background to voters via social media and WhatsApp tomorrow.
PKR is set to announce its list of candidates for West Malaysia tonight.
The lineup for East Malaysia will be announced respectively at Kota Kinabalu and Miri next week.
