KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 26 ― Another 935 Covid-19 cases were reported today, according to the Ministry of Health, with Sabah back to topping the list with 326 cases.

Selangor was second with 161 cases, while Negri Sembilan came in third with 158 cases after topping the list yesterday.

This brings the total number of cases to date to 60,752, with 11,348 of them still active.

Another three deaths were reported today bringing the total number of deaths to 348.

“As many as 103 cases reported today are from the lockup and prison clusters consisting of the Bakti (95 cases), Tembok (5 cases), Tawau (2) and Kepayan Prison (1) clusters,” Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdulah said in a statement today.

“Besides that, the total number of recoveries today is 2,555 bringing the total number of recoveries to 49,056,” he added.

Today’s recoveries are the highest single-day tally to date.

All three deaths reported today were from Sabah.

Death number 346 was a 70-year-old woman, death number 347 was a 59-year-old man who had a history of high blood pressure and asthma, and death number 348 was a 77-year-old woman who had a history of diabetes and high blood pressure.

“Apart from that, 110 cases are currently in the intensive care units with 45 of them needing ventilators to breathe.

“Of the total number of cases today, four were import cases,” added Dr Noor Hisham.
