MELAKA, Jan 17 ― A fire at a condominium at Klebang Besar here at 10 pm last night led to the existence of a drug laboratory believed to be capable of processing 10 kg of syabu or ecstasy at any one time.
Melaka Tengah deputy police chief Supt Razali Bakar said police found a pill press machine, an assortment of chemicals and other paraphernalia believed to have been used for drug processing.
He said initial investigations revealed that the condominium belonged to a local man but was rented out.
“Police are investigating who the owner is,” he told Bernama when contacted. ― Bernama
