PEKAN, April 5 — Director-General of Health Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah heads the list of another 199 recipients of Pahang state awards and medals today in conjunction with 83rd birthday anniversary of the Sultan of Pahang, Sultan Ahmad Shah.
The Tengku Mahkota of Pahang, Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah presented the awards and medals at Istana Abu Bakar here.
Dr Noor Hisham was among the four recipients of Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah (SSAP) award which carries the title ‘Datuk Seri’.
Other recipients of the SSAP awards were Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department director Datuk Mortadza Nazarene, 3A International Group Executive Chairman Anuar Abdul Aziz and Sonstar Engineering Works Sdn Bhd director Lim Chen Tong.
Eleven recipients received the Darjah Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (DSAP) award which carries the title ‘Datuk’, including Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Intelligence Division director Datuk Azam Baki, Defence Ministry deputy director-general (Intelligence) Maj Gen Mohd Sobri Paridaluddin Ismail, Asian Football Confederation secretary-general Datuk Alexander Soosai G. Susiappan.
A total of 103 recipients received the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP), which also carries the title ‘Datuk’.
Among them were Director-General of Immigration Aloyah Mamat, Malaysian High Commissioner to Pakistan Dr Hasrul Sani Mujtabar, Yayasan Dakwah Islamiah Malaysia president Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki, Pahang MACC director Moh. Samsudin Yusof and Pahang Tabung Haji director Mohyen Mosman.
Other recipients of the DIMP award were Utusan Malaysia Editor Mohd Hassan Mohammed Noor, Kosmo Editor Baharom Mahusin and Pahang Menteri Besar Press Secretary Abdul Wahab Mohamad Ali.
Tengku Abdullah also presented the Setia Ahmad Shah Pahang (SAP) award to one recipient, Setia Mahkota Pahang (SMP) award (10), Ahli Ahmad Shah Pahang (AAP) award (18), Ahli Mahkota Pahang (AMP) award (26) and Pingat Khidmat Cemerlang (PKC) (five).
Meanwhile, four Pahang bureau of the Malaysian National News Agency personnel - Nurazira Rashid, Zafri Razali, Zulfaidi Muhammad and Khairatul Ainal Abdul Karim — along with seven other recipients, received the Pingat Kelakuan Terpuji (PKT) medal. 10 other recipients received the Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (PJK) medal. — Bernama
