KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 1 — Italian luxury sports car manufacturer Lamborghini today unveiled its highly anticipated Revuelto in Malaysia.
The model is the marque’s first super sports V12 hybrid plug-in high-performance electrified vehicle in conjunction with its 60th anniversary.
The model is designed to combine the raw power of a V12 engine with cutting-edge hybrid technology.
It marks the brand’s long-term plan to introducing its fully-electric model called Lanzador by 2028.
The new model was launched today by Automobili Lamborghini regional director for Asia Pacific Francesco Scardaoni.
Scardaoni said the demand for Lamborghini supercars has always been strong in Malaysia, and remained optimistic that the new model will continue to captivate the luxury sports car enthusiasts here.
“We are thrilled to witness the arrival of Lamborghini Revuelto, a groundbreaking vehicle that redefines the boundaries of performance and electrification in the automotive industry.
“We are confident that Revuelto, which has established a new benchmark in performance, onboard technology and driving pleasure will continue to captivate our discerning customers.”
He also said that V12 engine remains a part of the brand’s identity and heritage.
“The emotion, sound and personality come from the V12.
“But the world is changing and we need to evolve without changing our DNA.”
Scardaoni said the company is on track to evolve with new technologies by hybridisation of the brand’s entire vehicle line-up by 2024, while maintaining the iconic V12 engine.
Starting at RM2.52 million before duty and tax, the new model is open for order.
Customers may also customise the interior design and exterior colour based on their desire.
