KUALA LUMPUR, April 3 — A kind-hearted nasi lemak seller from Penang has received many praises for her generous act of feeding a hungry stray dog.

The lady, who goes by the name Kak Ida on TikTok, posted a video of a stray canine standing in front of her stall by the roadside while staring at the food.

Kak Ida, whose real name is Nor Assida Abdul Rahim, then springs into action to feed the hungry doggie with a tasty meal that comprises rice, marinated chicken and two eggs.

She then places the food on the ground for the dog to enjoy.

In the video, Nor Assida explains that the strays need to eat food too regardless of whether it’s a cat or dog.

“May the food shared with the stray cats and dogs brings us more rezeki.”

Speaking to Malay Mail, Nor Assida said she believes that the attention and sustenance she has received is due to Jojo’s presence every morning.

“Jojo now comes every morning to eat nasi lemak at the stall.

“I’m grateful to those who shared the video and conveyed their well-wishes to me.”

The videos posted on TikTok in February have recently gone viral and attracted many social media users who praised Kak Ida for her generosity.

The video has so far been viewed over 200,000 times.

Many TikTok users regarded Kak Ida as a kind-hearted person and wished for more blessings for her.

Based on her TikTok, her stall is located along Jalan Besar, Sungai Bakap in Penang.
