PARIS, May 30 — Russia will not be invited to the 80th anniversary of the 1944 D-Day landings next week, two diplomatic sources said today. The French organisers had said in April that President Vladimir Putin would not be invited, but that some Russian representatives would be welcome in recognition of the country’s war-time sacrifice. — Reuters
