KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 12 — Chinese singer, songwriter and producer Joker Xue will be picking up the bills of outstation fans after he was forced to cancel a concert on Sunday due to high fever.
The 40-year-old, most recently seen on hit reality show Sing! China, was supposed to perform for two nights at Chengdu but had to call off the September 10 performance due to the ailment.
Despite his condition, Xue still turned up at the venue personally to apologise to fans saying he had the responsibility to do so, ET Today reported.
According to the portal, besides announcing tickets would be refunded, out of state fans can also claim their transport and accommodation expenses from the celebrity.
Aside from that, fans who did not take up the offer to refund their tickets would have another opportunity to attend Xue's concert, which he promised to do so following the cancellation.
Fans at the concert were full of praises for their idol.
According to them, Xue was having difficulties standing but he insisted on being on the stage to chat with the fans.
