KUALA LUMPUR, August 3 — Malaysian rock star Ella will be serenading fans in Penang as part of her Jilid Akhir: Ella Puteri Kota concert tour on October 28.

The concert will be taking place at Spice Arena in Bayan Lepas.

This will mark the Baldu Biru singer’s third location of her tour which started in June this year where she broke Malaysia Book of Records for selling out tickets within 24 hours after adding another night to her KL show.

Her upcoming Penang concert has also been making waves as over 6,000 tickets were sold after it went on sale yesterday.

"For your information, I was born in Gelugor, Pulau Pinang.

"In appreciation of the requests I’ve been receiving from my fans in the north, my team and I will come to you guys bringing the Jilid Akhir: Ella Puteri Kota for all,” she said in a statement.

The concert is scheduled to last around two and a half hours and will showcase between 25 and 30 songs, depending on the audience’s demand.

Ella also hinted that there will be surprise performances by guest artists.

Just before her Penang concert, the 56-year-old singer will be rocking out to Singaporean fans on August 17 and 18 at The Star Theatre.

The Standing in the Eyes of the World singer already sold out her August 18 show while tickets for August 17 are still available.

Tickets for Penang’s Jilid Akhir: Ella Puteri Kota are priced from RM78 to RM258.
