KUALA LUMPUR, July 6 — American rapper Tyga is heading to Kuala Lumpur for the first time this August.

Tyga or his real name Michael Ray Stevenson, will be performing at Zepp KL this August 9.

Organised by PinkFish Live, the first phase of the freestanding category tickets sold out in just an hour after sales began at 12pm earlier today.

Tyga which is an acronym for Thank You God Always, is a Compton-born rapper who rose to fame through his debut studio album No Introduction in 2008.

The rapper has since went on to release over 15 studio albums and has collaborated with big names in the rap game including Kanye West (Ye), Rick Ross, TY Dolla $ign, Doja Cat as well as Chris Brown.

Tyga is known for bopping hits such as Taste, Loco Contigo, Rack City as well as Ice Cream Man.

Tickets for Tyga at Zepp Kuala Lumpur are still available with ticketing price starting from RM248 to RM588.
