KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 9 — Malaysian singer Fyna Jebat, 29, is now a married woman.
Fyna or her real name Nur Syafinaz Jebat, who’s also the sister of famous actress and host Ayda Jebat, told Harian Metro that she has tied the knot to former national football team striker, Datuk Zainal Abidin Hassan, 61.
Zainal is also the former head coach for Penang FC and Melaka United.
Fyna met with the media after her performance with her sister at the reality singing show, Famili Duo in Plaza Alam Sentral, Shah Alam, last night.
"Alhamdulillah, I’m now married. Thank you so much. Please pray for me and my family,” she said.
Although she couldn’t reveal any more details on their wedding and marriage, Fyna told news portal Kosmo! that her husband has been supporting her career.
"Of course, he gave his support. That’s why we’ve won this week,” she said.
Fyna and Ayda managed to bring home RM10,000 yesterday after being announced as this week’s Famili Duo winners.
Commenting on her sister’s announcement, Ayda admitted she couldn’t be happier for her sister.
"I don’t think there’s much to talk about. Whatever it is, I’m proud of my sister when she decided to make this public.
"Thank you all. Our main task right now is Famili Duo,” she said.
Previously, it was reported by Arena Metro that a former Liga Super (Super League) coach had tied the knot with a local artist.
According to the source, the wedding was attended by selected individuals and family members only.
Zainal is famously known for being the Malaysia football team striker back in the 1980s and 1990s.
He was reported to have gotten married in the 1980s and was blessed with three children.
Zainal has yet to confirm his marriage to Fyna.
