KUALA LUMPUR, January 4 — Datin Fatimah Ismail posted a cryptic message on her Instagram — and many are speculating that she isn’t too happy with her son, film director Syamsul Yusof’s alleged marriage troubles with wife Puteri Sarah Liyana.

In an Instagram story, Fatimah appeared to express her disappointment with her son who is rumoured to have taken on a second wife in actress Ira Kazar.

"Destroying a family’s happiness? There will be no forgiveness for them.” she wrote.

She added an older picture of Syamsul and Puteri Sarah with their son Syaikhul Yusof.

Meanwhile, Syamsul confirmed the rumours of conflict in his marriage with Puteri Sarah in an Instagram video on January 1.

He assured his followers that he would explain the entire situation 'soon' once he ‘settles things a little more.’

"I know there have been many rumours that I have married Ira Kazar and just as many slanderous accusations,” Syamsul said.

"I am tired of this drama and I will explain my side of the story as soon as I can.”

Speculation of conflict between the couple began last December when Puteri Sarah claimed she was ‘the third person’ in the marriage and no longer lived with her husband.

Syamsul recently said he planned to sue the Federal Territories Islamic Religious Department for RM10 million for slander and providing false information to his family in connection with the allegations.

The couple were married on March 8 2014, and have two children Syaikhul, 5, and Summayah, 3.
