KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 6 — Less than a month after undergoing surgery for scoliosis, singer Zamani is back on stage doing what he does best — performing.
In a clip shared by his wife Nur Juliana Abd Rani on her Instagram, the 51-year-old sang to a small crowd at a shopping mall.
The Gerimis Mengundang singer also interacted with his fans during the session, a far cry from his previous condition that saw him performing with a hunched back posture due to his worsening scoliosis then.
A check on the comment section saw fans welcoming Zamani's return to the stage.
Among them was TV personality Datuk Aznil Nawawi, who managed to raise over RM100,000 through crowdfunding for Zamani’s scoliosis surgery.
In his comment, Aznil, affectionately known as Pak Nil, wrote "Alhamdullilah”.
Instagram user @kayrahman63 wished Zamani success while @ruhaiyati said the singer's voice was still melodious.
"It was a good performance,” she commented, wishing Zamani luck and also to take care of himself.
Zamani previously revealed that he first learned about his scoliosis back in 2015.
Initially seeking out traditional treatment, he chose to undergo surgery after facing difficulties to sleep as his bones pressed against his heart, making it hard for him to breathe.
