LAS VEGAS, Nov 17 — The Latin Recording Academy’s Person of the Year Marc Anthony and nominee Reik join the star-studded lineup of artists set to perform at the 17th edition of the Latin Grammy Awards today.
Anthony will be honored as the Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year at a gala on the eve of the awards in Las Vegas, where he will be celebrated among friends and colleagues.
Reik’s album Des/Amor is nominated under the category Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album.
They join an all-star roster of performers that includes J Balvin, Prince Royce, Laura Pausini, Farruko, Juanes, Fonseca, Jesse & Joy, Diego Torres, Rachel Platten, Gerardo Ortiz, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, among others.
Presenters for the night were also announced Tuesday. Among the names are Becky G, Kany García, Julieta Venegas, Jacob Forever, Enrique Iglesias, Sin Bandera, Charlie Zaa, Draco Rosa and iLe.
The Latin Grammys will air live on Univision at 8pm with a red carpet special,Noche de Estrellas, airing one hour before the awards show. — Billboard/Bloomberg
