LOS ANGELES, July 13 — Rap group De La Soul have linked up with popular mobile game "Angry Birds” to unleash a fresh track, titled  Action! as a bonus for upgrading to app’s new "Big Pig Update”.

As part of the update, De La Soul will also appear in the game as birds for one week, and confer special powers upon the player.

The group is returning to hip-hop after a 10-year hiatus, with their new crowdfunded album And The Anonymous Nobody scheduled for release on August 26 via Kobalt.

The record will be De La Soul’s first LP since 2004’s The Grind Date and is said to feature samples from original recordings made by the group and session musicians in LA over the past three years (via NME). — AFP-Relaxnews
