LOS ANGELES, Oct 20 ― Just in time for Halloween, the first trailer for “Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones” has hit the internet. Set in a Latino community in California, this latest installment in the horror film series plays upon Catholic and Latino folklore for a new twist on the mysterious phenomena depicted in the series.

In 2m35s, the video introduces Jesse (Andrew Jacobs), who becomes possessed by a demon after being mysteriously “marked.”

The film stays true to the amateur video style seen in the first “Paranormal Activity” film, released in 2009. It hits US theatres January 3. ― AFP-Relaxnews
