"When it happened, I was working in a room. Suddenly, the building shook, and the glass door looked like it was about to shatter.

"At the same time, I heard a sound like an explosion from the upper part of the building, so we ran out of the office out of fear for our safety.

"I have contacted the Mineral and Geoscience Department (JMG) to report the incident,” she said.

Noor Zaiti Nabilah Ahmad, 32, also evacuated her office at Medan Istana after experiencing the tremor.

"When I heard the loud noise, the first thing that crossed my mind was that it might be a bomb. We were really shocked.

"In my six years working here, this is the first time I’ve experienced something like this,” she said.

According to Berita Harian, social media users reported feeling the tremors in various locations, including Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital (HRPB), Chemor, Stadium Perak, Meru, Falim, Manjoi, and along the North-South Expressway (PLUS) near the Menora Tunnel.

"Just a moment ago, the building shook, and it sounded like a loud explosion,” Facebook user Ayu Balqishah wrote.

Efforts to obtain feedback from the JMG are still ongoing.
