IPOH, Oct 12 — Mosques throughout the state of Perak will hold special "hajat” prayers seeking protection for Palestine and the well-being of its people after Friday prayers tomorrow, said Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad.

"We have informed all the chairmen of mosques throughout the state of Perak to hold solat hajat for Palestine tomorrow, after the Friday prayers,” he told a press conference after attending state-level Meet-the-Customer Day at the Indera Mulia Stadium here today.

Saarani said the state government through the State Agricultural Development Corporation (SADC) has approved a donation of RM100,000 to the Palestinian humanitarian fund. — Bernama
