KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 14 — The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) will call two former Felcra Berhad chairmen Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman and Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin to help with its probe relating to its management.
PAC chairman Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin said the two will give their statements next Monday.
"PAC will call two former Felcra chairman next Monday to give an explanation and statement related to the Felcra Berhad issue that was reported in the Auditor-General Report 2021 series 2: The Activities Of Federal Statutory Bodies And The Management Of Subsidiary Companies.
"So far, PAC did three proceedings related to Felcra with the first on June 27 this year and the latest was on August 23,” she said in a press conference outside the Dewan Rakyat.
It was reported in February this year that Felcra Bhd was unable to settle debt arrears amounting to RM312.22 million in 2021, up from RM82 million in the preceding year, according to the Auditor-General’s Report (LKAN) 2021 Series 2.
