Ahmad Faizal: Perikatan remains optimistic about electoral fortunes in six states

SHAH ALAM, Aug 12 — Perikatan Nasional (PN) Negeri Sembilan chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu has expressed optimism about the six state polls.

He said results are looking good for the coalition at the moment in Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu.

"Results are looking good in Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu. Some of the seats which were tough, we have managed to win.

"We are still waiting for Selangor and Negeri Sembilan, but Penang is doing very well,” Faizal told reporters when met at the PN "war room” here at the Concorde Hotel.

The six state election results are currently being tallied in respected counting centres at respective states.

PN has unofficially announced that they will form the state governments in Kedah and Terengganu, while Pakatan Harapan-Barisan Nasional (PH-BN) has also unofficially announced that they will form the state governments in Penang and Negeri Sembilan.
