KUALA LUMPUR, July 10 — Seat negotiations among the federal government coalition partners are going very well and amicably, Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil said today.

He however refused to confirm the rumour of a Pakatan Harapan (PH) leadership meeting tomorrow to finalise the seat allocations.

"Negotiations are ongoing, the mood’s positive and we will make the announcement soon,” he said briefly when met.

"So we will reveal it when we reveal it,” he added when pressed by reporters.

Last week, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said he was confident that political parties aligned with the unity government will not only retain the three existing states but also wrest two other states controlled by the opposition in the upcoming state elections.

Anwar also said the seat allocations between Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional were finalised with no overlapping seats between both parties.
