"Following that, Kelantan PKR has been instructed to open the Main Operations Room (BGU) in the seven DUNs that we will contest,” he told reporters after the launch of the party’s election machinery and BGU for Panchor here last night.

"The Kelantan PKR BGU is only open in the constituencies we are contesting. In the areas where there is no PKR candidate, we will fully support the parties in the unity government which will be contesting them,” he said.

Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu, Penang, Selangor and Negeri Sembilan will go to the polls on August 12, with nomination day set on July 29 and early voting on August 8.

Meanwhile, Kelantan Amanah chairman Muhammad Husain, when contacted by Bernama, said his party had been informed by the PH central leadership that Amanah would contest in six of the seven seats requested by it.

Muhammad who is also Kelantan PH chairman, said the six seats are Tawang in the Bachok parliamentary constituency, Demit (Kubang Kerian), Kadok (Ketereh), Pengkalan Pasir (Pasir Mas), Bukit Panau (Tanah Merah) and Tanjong Mas (Kota Bharu).
