SHAH ALAM, May 26 ― Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today performed Friday prayers at the An Naim mosque, Kampung Jalan Kebun here.

His arrival at about 1pm was greeted by the Agriculture and Food Security Minister, Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu, who is also the Member of Parliament for Kota Raja, and Sungai Kandis assemblyman, Mohd Zawawi Ahmad Mughni.

Imam Mohd Hafiz Hussain led the prayers and then delivered a sermon, entitled "Kesucian Kalimah Allah yang Maha Agung”, to about 3,000 congregants.

After the prayers, the Prime Minister spent time with the congregation and then had lunch at the mosque. ― Beenama
