KUALA LUMPUR, May 10 — MYAirline Sdn Bhd has chosen Thailand as its first international destination and announced the start of sales today for routes to Suvarnabhumi International Airport and Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok.

The airline, which was established in January 2021, said it is the first Malaysian carrier to be flying to both airports, hence catering to all traveller profiles.

"Starting June 28, 2023, MYAirline will offer daily direct flights from Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (KLIA2) to Suvarnabhumi International Airport with an additional daily flight to Don Mueang International Airport to be launched on July 1, 2023.

"Twice-daily flights to both airports will commence on August 17, 2023, bringing up the total to four daily flights to the city,” it said in a statement today.

Chief executive officer Rayner Teo said the international route introduction signals the start of Phase Two of the airline’s expansion plans, and it comes at a right time when tourism demand is increasing.

To commemorate the launch, MYAirline is offering a zero-base fare campaign for early-bird passengers.

"Book from May 10 to 12, 2023, to grab over 12,000 seats with zero base-fares for its routes to Bangkok and take advantage of this attractive campaign and travel from June 28 to October 28, 2023, with MYAirline.

"Passengers can purchase tickets on the MYAirline website or through authorised travel agents,” it added. — Bernama
