Fahmi launches RM69 Unity Package home internet plan for residents of people’s housing projects, public housing

KUALA LUMPUR, April 14 — Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil today launched the Unity Package home internet plan priced at RM69 for People’s Housing Project (PPR) and public housing (PA) residents.

The Unity Package PPR/PA@MyKabel (Home Internet) offers internet service with speeds of up to 100 Mbps and unlimited data priced at RM69 with a subscription contract of 24 months.

"We hope that with the support of Time, we can fulfil the government’s goal to offer internet services at a cost that is more affordable for the people,” he said during the launch at PPR Kerinchi today, referring to telecommunications provider Time dotCom.

The package, which was offered from March 1, 2023, had already benefitted 13,000 households in eight PPR/PAs in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang and Johor.

It is estimated that there will be an increase up to 16,000 households by the end of this year that will enjoy this package.

Previously, the ministry had announced the Unity Package mobile internet plan priced at RM30 for youths, those from the lower income group (B40), senior citizens, and persons with disabilities.
