PUTRAJAYA, Jan 17 — Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh held a meeting today with all state representatives to discuss the nation's youth and sport's future development.

"The meeting aims to enable the ministry to understand and discuss relevant issues on a grassroots level and determine the right action to improve our nation’s youth and sports development,” said Yeoh at the press conference today.

The Segambut MP also stressed that the meeting is in line with the Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional unity government’s aim to work and communicate closely with the state government.

"Our portfolio, the youth and sports ministry is a portfolio that cannot be politicised,” she added.

Yeoh said this meeting will be held at least twice a year.

The meeting was attended by Yeoh, her deputy minister Adam Adli along with all state representatives except Selangor’s youth and sports councilor who couldn’t attend due to emergency matters.
