KUALA SELANGOR, Nov 5 — Kuala Selangor is expected to see a four cornered fight between Barisan Nasional (BN), Pakatan Harapan (PH), Perikatan Nasional, and Gerakan Tanah Air.
All candidates entered the nomination centre located at Stadium Tertutup Kuala Selangor at 9am sharp.
As early as 7.30am, supporters started gathering around the stadium to wait for their candidates.
Around 8.30am, PH’s candidate and incumbent MP Datuk Seri Dzulkefly Ahmad arrived.
There were around 200 red-clad supporters in his entourage. The group started marching peacefully towards the centre after prayers.
On the other side, BN’s candidate Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Aziz was greeted by a massive crowd of some 500 people, waving their big flags and chanting BN’s party songs.
The caretaker finance minister greeted his excited supporters before heading to the centre.
Not long after, Perikatan Nasional candidate Mohd Noor Mohd Shah arrived at the scene with a smaller crowd of roughly 100 supporters in the light blue T-shirts.
Also present were Pejuang Tanah Air supporters in white along with their candidate Mohd Shaih Rossi.
All groups were separated by security officers.
