KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 1 — Barisan Nasional (BN) today named Datuk Seri Sheikh Mohamed Puzi Ali as its candidate for Pekan, which has traditionally been contested by Tun Abd Razak Hussein and his son Datuk Seri Najib.

This will be only the second time since 1959 that no members of the Razak family will compete in the seat for the general election.
